Your residence is a place to return to, organise supplies and set up useful equipment. Access belongs to the relevant character; another character on the same account should not be assumed to have the same keys.
Find your residence
Check the map for your assigned trailer or owned-home marker. Approach its entry or management interaction and review what is available to your character. A starter trailer allocation is different from acquiring a permanent property.
For an available property, inspect the acquisition offer and current costs before accepting. Wait for the ownership result, then reopen management to check the record. A visible building is not necessarily a purchasable property.
Manage keys and access
Use the property's management options to review or share keys with the intended person. Check who receives access and use the removal option when that access should end.
Keep entry permissions separate from ownership. A person with access may be able to use shared storage or equipment; that does not make them the owner. Lock up and review your key holders after a shared arrangement changes.
Store supplies and place furniture
Use the property's storage interaction or an authorised furniture stash. Check capacity and wait for each transfer to finish. Dropped items on the floor are not a substitute for storage.
When placing furniture or a workbench:
- Carry the correct item or kit and start its placement action.
- Position it within the permitted property area.
- Use the displayed rotation and placement controls.
