Check the licence requirements for the vehicle you want to use. A vehicle key or garage record proves access to the vehicle; it does not replace a required driving licence.
Prepare for driving school
Find the driving-school interaction, review the licence or test offered and read its current price and eligibility requirements. Know your steering, braking, engine and seatbelt controls before paying for a test.
Use the test's assigned vehicle and instructions. A test waiting for a clear vehicle spawn is not ready to begin yet.
Follow the test in order
- Go to the assigned vehicle and enter the driver's seat.
- Fasten your seatbelt and start the engine when instructed.
- Follow the checkpoint instructions and the speed limit shown for the route.
- Make required full stops and wait for green where the test instructs you to do so.
- Return to the instructor when directed; passing the last route point alone does not finish every stage.
- Wait for the final result and check your licence status.
The test monitors violations including speeding, red lights, missed stops, missing seatbelts, collisions and leaving the vehicle. Read the score and time information on your screen rather than relying on a remembered route or a fixed allowance from another player.
If the test fails or will not start
- Check the displayed reason, required funds and current licence status.
- Make sure you are using the assigned test vehicle and correct seat.
- Follow the next instruction rather than skipping ahead to another checkpoint.
- If the attempt has failed or timed out, wait for its result before starting another.
For ordinary vehicle use after the test, continue with Vehicles, Keys and Garages. Report a stuck attempt through Getting Help, including the stage and message shown.
