These are the framework's default keyboard bindings. Your own Controls settings and the prompt on screen take priority if you have changed them.
Everyday keyboard controls

| P | Open phone | Carry a charged phone. |
| Caps Lock or T, held | Push to talk | Check your selected microphone and voice mode. |
| F4 | Cycle voice volume | Use a volume appropriate to the people around you. |
| F2 | Toggle earplugs | Check this if the world suddenly sounds quieter. |
| F6 | Open wallet | View the identity and wallet information available to your character. |
| F | Use a held consumable | Equip a suitable food or drink first. |
| Ctrl + J | Open self-care | Available while alive, conscious and unrestrained. |
| B | Toggle seatbelt | Check the belt state before driving or exiting. |
| U | Toggle vehicle lock | Requires access to the vehicle. |
| O | Open Syndicate tablet | Requires the separate tablet item; it is not a phone app. |
For inventory, map, vehicle operation and tool attacks, use the binding shown in your game settings. Not every action uses the same key as the phone or a menu.
