Progress comes from completing supported activities and building your character through play. Watch the results, messages and requirements shown in game as new opportunities become available to you.
Complete the activity
Containers and store robberies are examples of activities that can contribute to progression. Each has its own success conditions. Simply opening an interaction, beginning an attempt or standing near another player does not prove that you earned a reward.
Finish the required activity, read its outcome and check the relevant progress display. Failed or cancelled actions should not be treated as successful work. Different activities can award different kinds of progress.
Keep these progress systems separate
| Progress | What it relates to |
|---|---|
| Character XP | Your character's supported gameplay activities, including successful robbery rewards where applicable. |
| Gang reputation and tiers | Your organisation's recorded activity and upgrades. Review these through the Syndicate tablet. |
| Gunsmith XP and levels | Manufacturing recipes and workshop progression. Check these at a workbench. |
